Featuring over 60 buildings in Boston’s Beacon Hill/Back Bay area, this painting took over 80 hours to complete. The number of buildings in the work only represents a fraction of the number of homes that were in the original photograph. Every building in the painting was slightly altered to artist’s liking, creating a new portal to an improved Boston landscape. According to the National Census Bureau, there are approximately 650,000 people living in Boston’s 48 square miles.
